We’re delighted to announce that FreeAgent have fine-tuned how and when you can take Direct Debit payments with GoCardless.
This update will streamline how you can receive payments for your invoices, saving you valuable time and providing peace of mind.
When you create an invoice and select the GoCardless payment option, you'll now be prompted to choose when to take the Direct Debit payment.
You can choose to take the payment on the invoice date, the payment due date or when you manually trigger the payment.
Once you have marked the invoice as sent or chosen to send the invoice from FreeAgent, the Direct Debit process will be initiated and the payment will be taken from your customer automatically.
